About the Editor

Nitish Sengupta is a rare combination of an academician, an administrator and a politician.  He has held many honorary positions such as Chairman, U.N. Commission for Transitional Corporations, Chairman, Prasar Bharti Act Committee, Chairman, High Power Committee on Financial Sector Restructuring and was  elected to the Lok Sabha  in 1999.
